Lanzi Conditions and Coverage
The relapse guarantee is intended for cats that have correctly completed their FIP treatment with Lanzi.
1. What is considered a relapse
A relapse is considered the reappearance of clinical signs compatible with FIP and/or blood test abnormalities suggestive of the disease after having completed the treatment, confirmed through clinical evaluation and diagnostic tests.
The evaluation of the relapse will always be based on the clinical information and blood tests provided.
2. Cases eligible for the guarantee
Only cases that meet all of the following conditions can benefit from this guarantee:
- The cat has received treatment exclusively with Lanzi throughout the entire therapeutic protocol.
- The treatment has been completed in its entirety, meaning 84 consecutive days.
- Not having benefited from professional discounts (i.e., not having a professional customer profile) during the first treatment.
- The relapse occurs within 3 months after the end of the treatment, a period considered the observation phase.
If the relapse occurs more than 3 months after the end of the treatment, it will be considered a new process or reinfection, so any new treatment must be fully covered by the customer.
3. Guarantee conditions
In cases accepted into the relapse program, the customer can benefit from a 50% discount on the treatment for 84 days, corresponding to the second therapeutic protocol.
4. Information needed to evaluate a relapse
To evaluate if a case is eligible for the guarantee, send us the following information at Ayuda@Lanzifip.com . It is important that you send us all the information to speed up the process:
- Date of start and completion of treatment.
- Email address used to place the Lanzi orders.
- Blood tests performed at the end of the treatment.
- Approximate date of the relapse.
- Blood tests and exams performed after the relapse.
- Dose at which the treatment ended (in mg/kg, specifying if it was with injections or pills). If this data is not available, please indicate the cat’s weight and the ml injected or mg administered in pills.
Acceptance into the relapse program will be determined after the review of the clinical information and diagnostic tests provided.
5. Conditions during relapse treatment
By being accepted into the relapse program, you accept that:
- The treatment restart dose will be defined by our team, based on the available clinical information. It is important to start as soon as possible with a dose 4 mg/kg higher than the one finished.
- The commitment to not perform invasive interventions (such as sterilization) during the duration of the relapse treatment.
- You must perform blood tests before finishing the relapse treatment and send them so our team can assess if the cat is ready to stop the treatment.
Once all the necessary information to request the relapse guarantee is received, our team will review the case and provide a response within approximately 24 to 48 hours.
